Northfield Neighborhood - Meeting Minutes - 01/09/06 Introduction Treasurer's Report- we have about $1300 in the NNA account Chris Krager from KRDB and Roland Galang from Urban Space addresses the NNA about the Satsuma 53 project in our neighborhood. * Chris used to live on Ave. F and offices in Northfield * The units are 50% sold * The corner space is still open, and they're looking for a restaurant/café that would be neighborhood friendly to occupy it * They are talking to the owner of Sari Hair Salon across the street- the owner has two lots and it could be a smaller scale but similar multi-use development opportunity * KRDB really wants input and suggestions from residents, and they're excited to be working in our area Letter of Introduction from NNA to area residents * Sebastian Wren gave an overview of the letter * Special thanks go out to the committee members who worked on this letter * The letter will be edited to be clear about who to contact, have presidents' signatures, contain a to-be-determined PO Box address, and specify that National Night Out will be at the Brunning Green * Sebastian raised the issue and others concurred that the NNA web site will need to be updated. This letter will likely drive people to the site, and it has not been updated with minutes, newsletters or other info in many months. The NNA voted unanimously to secure a PO Box as a permanent mailing address for the NNA.
